- 30 g Turmeric preferably fresh
- 250 ml of organic milk
- 1 teaspoon of ginger powder
- 1 tablespoon of honey
Peel the fresh turmeric, finely grate it to get a paste. Take milk at room temperature (or cold) and add the grated turmeric (alternatively you can use pure turmeric powder). Add ginger powder and honey and mix well.
Golden Milk is a refreshing drink very effective to fight joint inflammation problems that often affect athletes, the anti-inflammatory properties of fresh turmeric combined with ginger and honey are outstanding. It's recommended not to heat the milk in order to preserve the active principles of fresh turmeric.
