- 250 g Potatoes
- 1 Onion
- 1 Tablespoon of Curcuma (turmeric) powder, or a fresh piece grated
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Pepper - a very good choice would be to use Voatsiperifery (Wild Malagasy pepper)
The choices are two, or boil a little the potatoes in advance, and then simply put in a pan, or (as I usually do) to cut into small pieces and cook directly in the pan, adding a bit' of water.
But let's start from the beginning: peel the onion and cut into small pieces, let it fry a little using olive oil, once golden add the potatoes into small pieces, add some water and cook for about 20 minutes, adding more water if necessary. Once the potatoes are cooked, fry a bit 'and then add pepper and turmeric!
