Vetiver Essential Oil
DETAILS
The Vetiver essential oil is obtained by the distillation of the roots of the graminee Vetiveria Zizanioides. The most active constituent is the khusimol, accompanied by key tones as a-vetivone and β-vetivone. Its color is orange brown and its fragrance woody and earthy.
PRODUCTION
The roots are aged then soaked in water for the distillation process preparation. In average 150Kg of roots are necessary to produce 1Kg of essential oil depending on the conditions of the roots.
This essential oil has been produced to the highest ethical and environmental standards.
